So here's my contest entry for a greyscale contest for Kumoricon. I love greyscale! I think my style comes out a lot better when it's just pencil and it feels natural. When I color, I'm under too much pressure because if I get it wrong somewhere, I have to start all over again.
But don't get me started on digital coloring. I've tried and tried and clicked on every clickable thing and tried to see what everything does, but there's an order to it that I still don't understand after reading the manual. Still, look at a digitally colored pic and compare it to this (and future greyscales). Everyone has their opinion, of course. WTF! Sorry about the whole editorial thing. |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
